Infrared Remote Controlled Robotic Beetle

This robotic beetle is reminiscent of a Martian Rover and is a fun and exciting introduction to the joys of mechanical construction and basic electrical wiring. The beetle is supplied as a kit of parts and once assembled, the beetle will scurry around and can pick up small objects with its controllable claw. It has forward and reverse drive capability and can be steered around obstacles. It has four separate control channels so up to four beetles can be used in the same area and you can compete together to find and transport objects. A terrific kit to help develop manual dexterity and assembly skills. Suitable for ages 12+
